Cudy M1800 AX1800 Mesh WiFi 6 (2-Pack): Overview
The Cudy M1800 (2-pack) is an AX1800 WiFi 6 mesh system for homes and small offices, offering 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz. It has Gigabit Ethernet ports and is set up and managed with the Cudy app.
Two mesh units share one network, giving better coverage in flats and houses where a single router leaves weak spots. AX1800 speeds suit fiber connections used for streaming, gaming, freelancing work and video meetings at the same time.
Key Features
- WiFi 6 AX1800 (574+1201 Mbps): fast dual-band WiFi for many devices.
- 2-pack mesh: two units work as one system for wider coverage.
- Gigabit Ethernet: wired ports for your ISP line, PC, TV or other devices.
- Cudy app: setup and management from your phone.
- One WiFi name: devices roam between units as you move.
Best For
- Flats and duplex homes with several rooms.
- Households with many phones, TVs and laptops.
- Freelancers and remote workers.
- Small offices and shops.
Setup and Usage Tips
- Connect the main unit to your ISP's ONU or modem and set up the connection type in the Cudy app.
- Place the second unit midway between the main unit and the weak area.
- Use a LAN cable between units where possible for better speed.
- Avoid placing units on the floor or behind TVs and metal furniture.
- Connect the ONU and main unit to a mini UPS for load-shedding.
For a two-storey house, start by placing the second unit on the upper floor near the stairs. This position usually gives the best balance between a strong link to the main unit and good coverage on the new floor.
Create a separate guest network for visitors so your own devices, such as printers and smart TVs, stay on the main network.
