The Ficer FSFP-C7-S13-20D is a 1.25G single-mode SFP transceiver with a duplex LC connector, made for network engineers and ISPs connecting switches, routers and OLTs over fiber. It uses a 1310 nm FP laser and is rated for 20 km on single-mode fiber.
A duplex module uses two fiber cores, one for each direction. With 20 km reach, it covers most links between buildings, villages and town PoPs in a local network.
Fiber also avoids the interference and surge problems that long copper Ethernet runs often suffer, especially during the monsoon. A stable SFP module at each end is what keeps that link reliable day after day.
