Jilong OPM-22V Mini Optical Power Meter: Overview
The Jilong OPM-22V is a mini optical power meter with a built-in visual fault locator, made for ISP technicians and fiber installation teams who test, install and repair fiber links. It measures optical power from -50 to +26 dBm across seven wavelengths from 850 to 1625 nm, includes a 10mW VFL and can also test RJ45 cables.
Combining a power meter, VFL and cable tester in one small unit means a technician can carry less and still check most things on a typical FTTH or office job. It is a practical everyday tool for checking ONU signal levels, finding breaks near the connector and testing Ethernet cabling.
Measuring power at the customer end is the quickest way to know whether a connection is healthy, weak or broken.
