The MikroTik CCR2004-16G-2S+ is a Cloud Core Router for ISPs and enterprise networks, with a 4-core ARM 1.7 GHz CPU, 4 GB RAM, sixteen Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 10G SFP+ ports in a 1U rackmount case running RouterOS v7. It is built to be the main router at a busy ISP POP or a large organisation.
The two SFP+ ports allow 10 Gigabit uplinks, for example one to the upstream provider and one to the core switch, while sixteen copper ports serve distribution switches, servers and local links. Many growing ISPs in Bangladesh move to the CCR series when their PPPoE user base and bandwidth grow.
