Rosenberger CAT.6 UTP Cable 305M (Original)

Rosenberger CAT.6 UTP Cable 305M (Original): Overview

The Rosenberger CAT.6 UTP Cable 305M (Original) is a full 305-metre box of genuine Rosenberger Cat6 unshielded twisted-pair cable for network installers, ISPs and office IT teams who need to wire buildings properly. It uses copper conductors, which is what you want for stable Ethernet links, reliable PoE and long service life inside walls and ceilings.

Cat6 cable is the everyday standard for new structured cabling: it handles Gigabit Ethernet comfortably and leaves headroom for faster equipment later. A 305 m box is the normal installer size, enough for many drops in an office, a shop floor or a multi-storey house, and it is available in orange, grey or blue so you can colour-code different networks.

Key Features

• Cat6 UTP construction - unshielded twisted pairs that are easy to terminate with standard Cat6 RJ45 plugs, keystone jacks and patch panels.
• Copper conductors - better signal quality and power handling than copper-clad aluminium, which matters for long runs and PoE cameras or access points.
• 305 m box - one continuous reel for a full installation, so you cut exactly the lengths you need with less waste.
• Orange, grey or blue colour - separate data, CCTV and ISP lines at a glance in a crowded cable tray.
• Genuine Rosenberger product - a known cabling brand that installers and ISPs trust for permanent work.

Best For

• Structured cabling in offices, banks, schools and hospitals.
• ISP last-mile and building distribution where many flats need a wired link.
• CCTV and IP camera installations using PoE switches or NVRs.
• Home networks for freelancers who want a steady wired connection for calls and uploads.

Setup and Usage Tips

• Keep each horizontal run within the standard 100 m Ethernet channel limit, including patch cords.
• Pull cable from the box gently and avoid sharp bends, kinks and over-tight cable ties, which can hurt Cat6 performance.
• Use Cat6-rated connectors and jacks, and keep the pair twists as close to the termination point as possible.
• Choose one wiring standard (T568A or T568B) for the whole site and test every run with a cable tester.
• Run data cable away from electrical wiring where you can to reduce interference.
