WGP Mini UPS for Wi-Fi Router

WGP Mini UPS for Wi-Fi Router: Overview

The WGP Mini UPS for Wi-Fi Router is a compact DC backup power unit that keeps your Wi-Fi router, and often your ONU, running during load-shedding. It is for homes, students, freelancers, small offices and shops that cannot afford to lose internet every time the electricity goes.

When the power cuts out, a normal router turns off and every online class, client call or bKash transaction stops. A mini UPS like the WGP switches to its battery automatically, so your connection stays up through typical power cuts. It is plug and play, with multiple DC outputs for more than one device.

Key Features

• Keeps your Wi-Fi router on during load-shedding – automatic backup power when the mains supply fails.
• Multiple DC outputs – power more than one networking device, such as a router and an ONU.
• Plug and play – connect it between the power supply and your devices without configuration.
• Compact size – sits beside the router on a shelf or mounts neatly near the network corner.

Best For

• Freelancers and remote workers who need internet during power cuts.
• Students attending online classes and exams.
• Small offices, shops and pharmacies running online billing or POS.
• Homes with an FTTH connection (ONU plus router).

Things to Check Before Buying

• Check the voltage your router and ONU need. It is printed on their adapters, commonly 9V or 12V, and must match the UPS outputs you use.
• Check the current (A) rating of your devices; together they must not exceed what the mini UPS can supply.
• Check the DC plug size on your devices so the UPS cables fit properly.
• Backup time depends on the battery and how much power your devices draw. Ask us for an estimate with your router and ONU model.

FAQs about the WGP Mini UPS

Q: Can it run both my ONU and router?
A: It has multiple DC outputs, so it usually can, as long as the voltages and total current of both devices fit its outputs. Check the labels on your adapters, or ask us with your models.

Q: How long will it keep the internet on?
A: Backup time depends on the power your devices use. Lower-power routers and ONUs run longer.

Q: Do I need to set anything up?
A: No. It is plug and play: connect the mains adapter and your devices and it switches to battery automatically.
